Generator Canopy

At Wiltech Acoustics not all our challenges are large ones but the same care and attention is taken

We were challenged to provide a full Acoustics Package for A 50kVA generator canopy in the roof top plantroom of a London hotel.

A very restrictive plantroom footprint meant the cold air inlet needed to on top of the canopy and vertical discharge through the plantroom ceiling for the hot air and exhaust gas discharge.

A de-mountable panel design to allow hand carrying into the room with lift-off doors to maximise access around the unit for cabling and maintenance.

An acoustically lined bunded under-base, plantroom Acoustic double door and 3-off acoustic louvres, all calculated within the duct allowance limits of the radiator fan completed the package.
