Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. We currently have vacancies for a proactive and qualified Press Brake Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting and Operating CNC Press Brakes: Safely and efficiently set up and operate CNC press brake machinery to meet production requirements.
  • Inspecting Finishing Products: Ensure all finished products meet quality and accuracy standards by conducting thorough inspections.
  • Material Handling: Set up and load materials onto the CNC press brake machine to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Monitoring and Adjustments: Continuously monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Working from Engineering Drawings: Interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications to produce components as per the requirements.
  • General Duties: Support with loading, unloading, cleaning, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Overtime: After 38 hours enhanced pay for overtime.
  • Hours: Static -Days 6am till 2pm, Afternoons 2pm till 10pm (15% shift allowance), Nights 10pm till 6am (30% shift allowance).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in setting and operating CNC press brake machines.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to perform quality checks and ensure precision in finished products.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make adjustments during operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently when required.
