Diesel Engine Genset Noise Control – 3D Animation

The 3D animation below details a specification scenario to reduce a standby power diesel generators noise levels from 115dB(A) to 75dB(A) externally.

The first step our team takes is to ensure that they understand the operating specification of the genset and its noise output spectrum. A full acoustic room assessment and an evaluation of any existing plant room equipment is combined with this to holistically manage considerations such as inlet airflow, exhaust gas and reverberant build-up.
