We currently have vacancies for a proactive Maintenance Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of all onsite mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Perform planned repairs and reactive repairs for mechanical and electrical systems as required.
- Fault-find and diagnose mechanical and/or electrical faults to ensure effective resolutions.
- Respond promptly to faults and breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
- Prioritize system faults and optimize uptime and availability of onsite equipment.
- Complete all maintenance reports in line with company requirements and standards.
- Participate in the delivery, installation, commissioning, and testing of upgrades and equipment enhancements.
- Ensure optimum levels of onsite spare parts are maintained and available when needed.
- Support site meetings and provide advice as required.
- Mentor, train, and advise junior team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and skills development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role with both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance issues, minimizing downtime.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and departments.
- Experience in completing detailed maintenance reports in a timely manner.
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with the delivery, installation, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems upgrades.
- Ability to mentor and train junior members of the team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address equipment faults.
